Ricky Warner, a native of Carlisle, Penn., is the crew chief for the Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) No. 15. The 2009 season will be the fourth year Warner and Donny Schatz have worked together. Three WoO championships and three Knoxville Nationals highlight their accomplishments since first working together in August 2005. Warner was hired by TSR in June 2007 and was a big reason why Schatz agreed to become driver of the second TSR WoO entry.
Warner began in sprint car racing in the mid 1990's with the late Kevin Gobrecht competing in the tough Central Pennsylvania circuit. He spent several years on the Outlaw Tour with Tyler Walker and later worked with Jac Haudenschild and Andy Hillenburg.
After spending three years working in NASCAR for Evernham Racing, Warner returned to the sprint car ranks in August of 2005 when he joined Donny Schatz Motorsports. The combination of Schatz and Warner proved to be stout as the duo won a number of races to close the 2005 season, the Knoxville Nationals in 2006 and the WoO championship in 2006.
Warner lives in Indianapolis, IN with his wife Danelle, their son Drew, and daughter Stevie.

Shane Bowers began his fourth season as a crewman for Donny Schatz in February. The past three seasons, he has been part of the championship winning team, coming over from the Schatz Motorsports team to Tony Stewart Racing in November 2007. He has been involved in 62 victories with Schatz through the 2008 season.
Bowers spent time working with the Parsons Motorsports team and driver Tim Shaffer before he joined Schatz Motorsports in March 2006. He grew up as a neighbor to the late Kevin Gobrecht in New Oxford, Pennsylvania, and started working in racing with PJ Chesson in 1998.
After three seasons with Chesson Racing, he raced locally with Michael Markey before returning to the road with Brian Paulus in 2003. He spent the past two years with Parsons Racing and claims the 2005 thrilling victory at the Lernerville Silver Cup was one of his best nights working on the No. 6 car.
Bowers has been designated car chief by Ricky Warner, which means he'll be involved in all phases of getting the car ready to race each night.
Bowers resides in Brownsburg, IN with his wife Stacey, and their newborn son. |

As parents of Donny, Danny and Diane Schatz have been involved with Donny's racing career from day one. They put Donny on the road in 1997 to chase the WoO Rookie of the Year and supported his racing career for the last 15 years.
Danny is a former sprint car competitor and used his experience to assemble the winning combination of people and equipment that helped Donny win back-to-back WoO titles. He is a pilot with several years of air time and in most cases will fly Donny to each of the races.
Diane spear heads the development and constant enhancement of the merchandising and sponsor-oriented marketing programs for Donny and you can find her at most races in the Schatz merchandise vending trailer.
Danny and Diane operate full service truckstops in Fargo and Minot, ND, and both are avid race fans that attend most events every season.
